A Visiting Reception in Samarkand

Another visiting reception was held in the building of the regional administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Samarkand with the participation of managers and employees of Uzbekistan Airways JSC. The meeting, held in a Q&A format, was attended by individuals and legal entities, air ticket agents, travel companies, business entities and representatives of the media.  

Air travel sales agents and representatives of tourism organizations shared their views on issues that require improvement based on global experience. Other issues related to passenger and cargo air transportation were also discussed. Most of the issues of concern to passengers were resolved on the spot. Appeals requiring additional investigation were forwarded to the relevant structural divisions of the airline.  

Participants of the event also received detailed information about the development of the domestic air transportation market on the basis of Silk Avia airline, part of the Uzbekistan Airways JSC group. Increasing flights within the Republic of Uzbekistan and creating favorable conditions for the movement of our citizens by air is one of the priorities set for the airline.

Uzbekistan Airways will continue to organize similar meetings in all regions of the Republic, find solutions to passengers’ problems, study their suggestions and opinions, and work to improve the quality of services.
