Accumulation and expiration date of bonus points and confirmation of privileged statuses

Share on social media

The number of award points awarded for a flight is calculated using the formula:

Paid fare in euros*10

Where:

  • Paid fare – actually paid fare in euros, taking into account discounts, applied to pay for transportation. If the fare used to pay for the ticket was published in a currency other than euros, then the amount of such fare must be recalculated into euros at the rate (in the PSS system) in effect on the date of purchase of the ticket.
  • 10 – increasing factor.

The number of bonus points awarded for the flight is rounded to the nearest whole value.

NOTE: Only when selling air tickets with an add-on section on the local part of the route (international + local), the calculation from the point of departure to the turnaround point is applied (without taking into account the stopover point).

Example: Almaty-Tashkent-Nukus, flight HY, fare Y costs 255 euros. Calculation: 255*10=2550bonus points.

When upgrading your service class, award points awarded for the flight performed are calculated according to the formula in clause 6.1.1, based on the fare actually paid by the participants.

Reward points are not awarded for:

  • Air tickets issued for charter flights;
  • Air tickets not used for transportation;
  • Free air tickets;
  • Award tickets issued using accumulated award points.

For tickets issued in accordance with the SPA agreement, in which the cost of transportation for the segments of the JSC and the interline partner is indicated in a single amount without dividing it by the cost of transportation on individual segments of the route, bonus points are awarded only for the segments of the JSC with the application of a reduction factor of 0.5 to the general formula.

For example: For the route Moscow-Tashkent (HY)-Tashkent-Seoul (OZ), the fare amount is 383 EUR. Points are awarded according to the general formula using a reduction factor of 0.5 as follows: (383*10) *0,5 = 1915

For air tickets issued for flights under code-share agreements from a block of seats owned by JSC, where JSC is a marketing carrier, bonus points are awarded according to a general formula using a reduction factor of 0.05 as follows: (383*10) *0,05 = 191,5

Ib (OW/RT in EUR)   =

            0,01

The number of points deducted for the selected service class (X/Z)

Ib is an indicator of the basic economy or business class fare corresponding to the level of the return fare. The indicator is determined by Appendix A.

For tickets issued at through fares, award points are awarded immediately after using the first segment to the turnaround point/or the entire route if the ticket is purchase done one way.

JSC reserves the right to increase or decrease the coefficient for accruing bonus points on any routes based on the commercial feasibility of carrying our transportation.

Award points earned are valid for use for 36 months from the date of the flight for which they were awarded. If reward points are not used within their expiration date, they are automatically cancelled.

In case of reinstatement of an unregistered flight, award points are credited on the date/year in which the flight was taken.

Points purchased by a program participant are not taken into account when calculating status points to determine the participant’s premium status.
