Quality inflight service and safe flights are what Uzbekistan Airways always strives for. This year, significant changes have been made to the airline’s flight personnel. This, in turn, is a consequence of the expansion of the Uzbekistan Airways fleet. Since the beginning of 2022, the airline has added five Airbus A321neo aircraft to its fleet, and plans to purchase 12 more A320neo and A321neo aircraft in 2029-2030.

It is important to note that in 2022, Uzbekistan Airways has hired 9 co-pilots and 19 commanders from foreign countries. In addition, a competitive selection process for foreign graduates of flying schools is planned for January of the coming year. The selection will be the first in the history of Uzbekistan Airways, as in the past the airline signed contracts only with active foreign pilots.

The profession of flight attendant also plays an important role in providing passengers with a safe and comfortable flight. In 2022, young men and women in Uzbekistan were given the opportunity to master the profession of flight attendant. By December 2022, 29 graduates of the “Training Centre” were competitively selected and invited to join Uzbekistan Airways. In addition, Uzbekistan Airways has recruited two flight attendants in 2022 with valid certificates and experience in other airlines.
