Malaysia hosts presentation of Uzbekistan's tourism opportunities

Representatives of Uzbekistan Airways in Malaysia held a presentation at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur on the potential of pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan. The event was attended by heads of more than 30 major tourism companies from Malaysia and Bukhara region.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Karomiddin Gadoev told the participants in detail about the large-scale reforms in the tourism sector and the facilities being created for foreign tourists. Representatives of tourism companies of the republic presented tour packages to the historical centres of Uzbekistan, as well as tourism programmes of Bukhara, Samarkand, Khorezm regions and Tashkent city, including “cultural tourism”, “pilgrimage tourism”, “Umrah+”, “gastronomic tourism”, “business tourism” (MICE).
