Starting from October 14, air passengers under 12 years of age arriving in Turkey from abroad are accepted without providing a negative SARS-COV-2 PCR test. We remind you that previously only children under 6 years old were exempted from these measures.

All other passengers entering Turkey must have a certificate of completion of the full course of vaccination since the last vaccination, which has passed at least 14 days, or a document confirming recovery from COVID-19 in the last 6 months. This was announced by the Turkish authorities.

“Children of 12 years old when entering Turkey will be exempted from the need to provide vaccination certificates or PCR test results,” the statement said.

In the absence of this certificate, the passenger must present a negative SARS-COV-2 PCR test, performed no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Turkey, or a negative rapid antibody test, performed no earlier than 48 hours before arrival in Turkey.

Passengers entering Turkey who have not completed the full course of COVID-19 vaccination can be placed on self-isolation for 14 days.
