Uzbekistan Airways held a career guidance event

Today, November 12, 2021, Uzbekistan Airways organized an interactive event "Choosing a Future Profession" dedicated to the vocational guidance of young people in the field of civil aviation. The solemn event was attended by  pupils  of the state specialized school No. 133 of  Almazar region, guests and media representatives.

The participants of the event heard the history of the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, saw how passengers are serviced. And also, schoolchildren were lucky enough to get into the controlled area of ​​the airport, see the takeoff and landing of aircraft, visit the cockpit of a passenger aircraft - Boeing 787 Dreamliner, meet the pilot and flight attendants. The airline employees also talk about how the aircrafts fly, what processes take place on the apron, when the aircraft taxi into the parking lot, and then goes on the flight, what equipment is involved in servicing the aircraft.

Adiba Mengboeva, participant of the vocational guidance event, shared her impressions: “Today we saw how the air harbor of our city lives. It is very nice to see high-class pilots and flight attendants, all employees who work day and night to serve air passengers. Thanks to the organizers of this wonderful excursion. “

The participants of the excursion were able not only to plunge into the aviation atmosphere, but also to see for themselves that the work of civil aviation as a large well-coordinated organism is not easy, but very exciting.

“It is very pleasant to see air transport with my own eyes. The guys really liked the fact that the civil aviation industry of our country is the leading link for supporting the economy of Uzbekistan. And we hope that among them there are also future specialists in civil aviation ”- said the director of school №133 Nigora Zukurova.

The event ended with the awarding of the winners of the Travel to the Airport competition, which took place on the airline's social networks. All winners and participants of the event were presented with memorable gifts on behalf of “Uzbekistan Airways” JSC.
