A Baby Was Born Onboard Uzbekistan Airways!

On the 33rd anniversary of Uzbekistan Airways, an extraordinary event took place onboard flight HY101 from Tashkent to New York. During the flight, a passenger went into labor. The senior flight attendant assessed the situation and made an announcement asking for medical assistance.

Two passengers, an obstetrician and a surgeon, responded to the call. After some time, a healthy baby boy was born onboard.

Following this, the crew decided to make an emergency landing at Keflavik Airport in Iceland. Upon landing, medical personnel boarded the aircraft to provide necessary assistance. Both the mother and newborn were safely transported to a local clinic.
