Uzbekistan Airways has announced the decision to equip its upcoming Airbus A321neo aircraft with advanced in-flight connectivity (IFC) systems using the HBCplus – Airbus' flexible multi-orbit satellite connectivity solution. This initiative is part of the airline's ongoing efforts to enhance the onboard experience and introduce modem digital services for passengers.
As the airline prepares to welcome а new generation of aircraft, а strong emphasis has been placed on expanding passenger comfort and ensuring reliable internet access throughout the flight. The integration of the HBCplus IFC system will allow travelers to enjoy high-speed connectivity for streaming, messaging, and business use on both regional and long-haul routes. Installation is scheduled to begin with the arrival of the A321neo aircraft starting from 2026.
Shukhrat Кhudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways, noted that introducing inflight interment is а strategic step in the airline's modernization journey. "Equipping our A321neo fleet with advanced connectivity reflects our commitment to offering а new level of comfort and service. This partnership with Airbus brings us closer to our goal of becoming а leader in air transportation across Central Asia," he said.
Uzbekistan Airways is the national air carrier and the largest airline in Uzbekistan.
