On January 15, 2025, flight HY9607 from Bukhara to Moscow (Vnukovo) experienced an engine failure during the approach to the destination airport. The airline's crew followed all necessary procedures and decided to land the aircraft at the destination airport.

The landing was carried out successfully, with 132 passengers on board.

Uzbekistan Airways' technical services are conducting all necessary restoration work. Subsequent flights, scheduled according to the current timetable, will be operated by a reserve aircraft, which has already departed for Vnukovo International Airport.
