Uzbekistan Airways has launched regular flights to Jakarta

On April 26, 2023, Uzbekistan Airways resumed direct flights between Tashkent and Jakarta.

At the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the aircraft was traditionally greeted with a water arch, and the crew of the arriving flight with flowers. The solemn ceremony was attended by representatives of the media, leaders of the local airport, Indonesian tour operators and the first passengers of the Tashkent-Jakarta flight.

During the meeting, it was noted that the opening of a new direction is another point on the Uzbekistan Airways flight map, which appeared thanks to the airline’s systematic program to expand the route network. It is no coincidence that after a long break, it was decided to resume direct flights to Jakarta at the end of April. Because, there is convenient connections to Bali. The most favorable season for relaxing in the resorts of the island is from May to October.

Relations between Tashkent and Jakarta had been established since the first years of independence. Over the years, flights between two countries have been serving the development and experience exchange of economy, education, medicine, technology, tourism and many spheres. This regular flight lets the flow of international tourism increase and gives an opportunity to Indonesians to visit the pilgrimage sites in our country.

In addition, air communication between Uzbekistan and Indonesia will contribute to the development of tourism and bilateral relations between the countries.
