On August 3, the A320 UK32015 aircraft, which was operating flight HY9684 on the Krasnoyarsk – Tashkent route, after an hour of flight, flying over the border of Russia and Kazakhstan, at an altitude of 11,000 m, entered a zone of meteorological phenomena abnormal for these altitudes (hail). As a result, the glass of the cockpit was damaged. The crew, having completed the prescribed procedures, decided to continue the flight. Landing in Tashkent was carried out according to schedule. During the post-flight inspection, damage to the nose cone of the weather radar was also discovered.
There were 174 passengers and 6 crew members on board.
Repair work is currently carried out. In the coming days, the aircraft will begin to operate flights in normal mode.
