Uzbekistan Airways performed the first flight to Batumi

On May 21, 2022, Uzbekistan Airways operated the first flight on the Tashkent-Batumi route. The Airbus A320neo aircraft delivered 94 passengers to Batumi International Airport. The first flight HY-747 was met with a water arch.

It is worth recalling that the first flight to Georgia, Uzbekistan Airways operated on the route Tashkent - Tbilisi - Tashkent on July 16, 2019. Prior to this, the airline did not carry out flights between Uzbekistan and Georgia.

At the beginning of 2020, taking into account seasonal demand, other cities of Georgia were also considered for the possibility of organizing charter or seasonal flights, but the pandemic changed the plans. At the end of 2021 - beginning of 2022, work on Georgia was resumed, seasonal flights were opened on the route Tashkent - Batumi - Tashkent.

Tourism is becoming one of the incentives for strengthening foreign economic, cultural and humanitarian ties. And the increase in regular flights and the opening of new directions from Uzbekistan to the cities of Georgia will serve to further develop the tourism sector and increase passenger traffic between the two countries.

To date, Uzbekistan Airways operates flights from Tashkent to Tbilisi twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.

- air tickets in the direction of Tashkent - Tbilisi start from 2,244,459 UZS (without baggage) and from 2,570,080 UZS (with baggage), and Tashkent - Tbilisi - Tashkent from 4,538,244 UZS (without baggage) and from 5,189,486 UZS ( with luggage)

- air tickets from Tashkent to Batumi start from 2,314,235 UZS (without luggage) and from 2,663,114 UZS (with luggage), and Tashkent - Batumi - Tashkent starts from 3,951,656 UZS (without luggage) and from 4,486,604 UZS ( with baggage).
