Uzbekistan Airways Supports Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy

In order to successfully implement Uzbekistan - 2030 strategy in the Year of Support for Youth and Business, Uzbekistan Airways organized a one-day tour to Samarkand for those in need of an individual approach and living in the mahallas (neighborhood) “Buloqboshi”, “Qang‘li”, “Qo‘rsoy” and “Chumchuqjar” , Yuqorichirchiq district, Tashkent region.     

Participants of the event had the opportunity to travel to Samarkand on an ATR-72 aircraft and take part in a tour of key attractions of the city: Gur-Emir mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi Khanum mausoleum, Shahi-Zinda complex.  

Guests also got acquainted with the history of the Timurids and the legends that envelop ancient Samarkand.

Upon arrival at the Tashkent airport, the trip participants had a meeting with the management team of Uzbekistan Airways in a solemn atmosphere.  

“On behalf of the respected President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the state of the Republic of Uzbekistan, we are ready to provide assistance to everyone who needs it. Today is a small part of what we intend to implement in the future. We still face many tasks, but I believe that the work that has been launched will definitely bring benefit to our people. We only need openness and willingness to engage in dialogue,” Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC, addressed the chairmen of mahallas and young people. 

Uzbekistan Airways takes an active part in improving the efforts of the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at supporting youth.  

Uzbekistan-2030 strategy is one of the fundamental documents that determine the development paths of the country and its economy. One of the key goals of the Development Strategy is to create a favorable environment for young people. The Strategy provides for improving the educational system, developing youth organizations, supporting young professionals and providing opportunities for their professional growth. 

 

Uzbekistan Airways is the largest airline of Uzbekistan. It has the status of a Joint Stock Company. The fleet includes Boeing 767/787, Airbus A320ceo/320neo/321neo/A330, L-410, ATR-72 aircraft.
