Expansion of route map is an annual goal pursued by Uzbekistan Airways to ensure maximum comfort for its passengers. In 2022, Uzbekistan Airways has not only opened a number of new destinations, but also resumed flights to the world’s most visited cities.

The first of them was Russiaʼs largest resort city - Sochi. On January 30, Uzbekistan Airways resumed regular flights from Tashkent to Sochi. During the year, the number of flights to the Russian resort city has increased significantly. Today, Uzbekistan Airways flies from Tashkent to Sochi daily except Thursdays and from Namangan on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The next city, where Uzbekistan Airways resumed flights, was Baku. On March 8, after a long hiatus, the airlineʼs passengers were given an opportunity to visit one of the worldʼs most beautiful cities. You can stroll through the streets, where the famous movie «The Diamond Arm» was filmed, next week: flights from Tashkent to the capital of Azerbaijan are operated on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Uzbekistan Airwaysʼ longest-awaited flight was the city of romance and love - Paris. In April 2022, after a two-year hiatus, the airline announced the resumption of flights to the French capital. Paris is among the cities with seasonal flights. For this reason, we advise you to plan your spring break in the French capital in advance.

Flights to Tokyo, one of the biggest cities in the world, where life does not stop even at night, have also been resumed in August this year. You will be able to travel to the land of the Rising Sun next year, that is why we suggest you make a list of things to do in Tokyo right now.

This autumn Uzbekistan Airways has proved that all roads really lead to Rome. The airline has resumed flights to two Italian cities: Milan and Rome. It is worth noting that Uzbekistan Airways flew to Italy in 2000 on the route Tashkent-Rome-Tashkent and in 2007 Tashkent-Milan-Tashkent for the first time. However, in 2019, the airline suspended flights to a number of countries, including Italy, due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection.

Two years later, on August 19, Milan Malpensa airport welcomed 227 passengers from Uzbekistan Airways. In honour of the first Urgench-Milan-Tashkent flight, the airline organised an event at Urgench International Airport with singer and airlineʼs ambassador Sevara Nazarkhan. A month later, the passengers of Uzbekistan Airways were given the opportunity to travel to Rome, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, which is often referred to as the «Eternal City». Rome and Milan are among the cities where seasonal flights are available. Do not miss the chance to spend your Roman holiday in the Italian cities.

Uzbekistan Airwaysʼ passengers got the opportunity to spend their winter holidays in the tropical paradise of Kuala Lumpur with the onset of cold weather in Uzbekistan. Relations between Tashkent and the Malaysian capital have been established since the first years of independence: Uzbekistan Airways began flying to Kuala Lumpur in 1992. However, in 2020, a coronavirus pandemic brought changes and flights were suspended. Two years later, on November 1, Kuala Lumpur international airport opened its doors to Uzbekistan Airwaysʼ passengers. You can fly to the country where summer reigns all year round every Tuesday and Friday from Tashkent.

If you are struggling to choose a country for your upcoming winter holidays, the latest information from The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics can help. It presents (https://t.me/statistika_rasmiy/3008 ) a list of popular holiday destinations among Uzbek people. The favourite country in 2022 was Turkey, which was visited by 202,100 Uzbek people. Next comes the UAE with 87,900 tourists, followed by Saudi Arabia in third place with 49,000. The list also includes South Korea, the United States, Georgia, India and Germany, where Uzbekistan Airways operates regular flights.

In the coming year, Uzbekistan Airways is planning to resume even more flights between cities in Uzbekistan and popular countries around the world. Follow the news on our official pages on social media, website and explore the world with Uzbekistan Airways.
